Description
This is Bei Bei, the Giant Panda from Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, DC. He was born in August of 2015 and is about 2 1/2 years old in this photo. I have been visiting and photographing the pandas at the National Zoo for many years. I call Bei Bei magical because there is something captivating about him. He engages his fans with his sweet gazes and fun antics such as tree climbing and somersaulting. He is a wonderful representative for his endangered species.
